Five arrested for dangerous bike stunt on flyover

As a consequence for an incident that occurred on March 29, five men were arrested for recklessly riding a single motorcycle with five people aboard near the Telangana Flyover in Hyderabad after the incident went viral on social media. Saifabad SHO Seethayya confirmed that the police launched an investigation based on the viral video. The five accused have been identified as Vadde Arjun, Arupu Rohit, Chintakunta Anja Kumar, Siddam Kaushik and Vallapu Murali.

According to the SHO, cases have been registered under Sections 281 and 125 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, along with provisions of Motor Vehicles Act. The black Pulsar bike was carrying five persons without helmets, exceeding the vehicle’s capacity. Speaking to the media, SHO Seethayya praised the police team for quickly tracing and apprehending the suspects with the help of technical evidence.

The officer appealed to the youth and parents to strictly follow road safety rules. He made it clear that no one, regardless of age or background, would be spared from legal action if they violate traffic regulations. Seethayya particularly urged young people to stop performing stunts on bikes and riding with more passengers than permitted. The police urged all citizens to cooperate in maintaining law and order and preventing road accidents in the city.
