In a significant judgment, the X Additional District & Sessions Judge at LB Nagar, Ranga Reddy District, on Friday sentenced three persons - Chevella Kumar, Chevella Sayanna and Mekala Raju to undergo rigorous life imprisonment and also to pay fine of Rs 40,000 each as victim compensation of Rs 1,20,000 in a murder case that took place in Aloor village.
The case was registered on a complaint dated May 9, 2012 by the complainant wherein he alleged that Chevella Kumar developed illegal contacts with Alivelu and both of them decided to marry. In 2010 both of them got married and were blessed with a daughter Deeksha.
After that they went to Murthuzaguda Rathnakumari Garden and worked at his house. During this period, Alivelu starts speaking with other people. Chevella Kumar objected to her, but she did not listen. Since then Chevella Kumar developed inimical terms with his wife and conspired and hatched a plan to eliminate Alivelu.
On May 7, 2012, Accused took both mother and daughter to outskirts of Aloor village of Chevella Mandal in auto rickshaw, there they brutally cut the throat of Alivelu, later burnt her by pouring petrol.
Later the accused threw Deeksha in the flames and killed in a heinous manner. During the investigation, collected oral, scientific evidence and filed the charge sheet on April 25, 2013.
The trial commenced in 2014 under SC No. 320/2014. During trial the Court examined as many as 31 witnesses, after careful examination of the evidence, found the accused persons guilty of the charges.
Two persons get life in Chevella murder case

The X Additional District & Sessions Judge at LB Nagar, Ranga Reddy District sentenced two persons Guduru Kumar and Kotha Kurva Ramachandraiah to undergo rigorous life imprisonment and also to pay a fine of Rs 5,000 each in a murder case that took place in Chevella.
Court orders a total fine of Rs 10,000 to be paid to the victim as part of the victim compensation scheme.
Case was registered based on a complaint filed on October 23, 2015 by a person, who stated that on the intervening night of October 22 and 23, 2015, the accused persons beat the complainant’s father Sriramulu and forcibly pulled his testicles and stole Rs 11,000 from him.
The injured person was first rushed to the government hospital in Chevella and following doctors advice the family members rushed him to the Osmania General Hospital (OGH) for better treatment.
The injured died later while undergoing treatment. During the investigation, collected oral, scientific evidence and filed the charge sheet was submitted on February 16, 2016. The trial commenced in 2016 under SC No. 80/2016. During trial the Court examined as many as 15 witnesses, after careful examination of the evidence, found the accused persons guilty of the charges.
