40-year-old tree successfully translocated

A 40-year-old tree (Peltophorum) was successfully translocated from Shyamlal Building area in Begumpet to a nearby graveyard on Tuesday. The translocation was completed in coordination with several departments including Begumpet Traffic Police Station, Forest Department, GHMC UBD Department, and local leader Hosey-Tocuher.

The translocation was done to ease the traffic flow and improve traffic management, informed police authorities. The special operation was undertaken under the supervision of K Rahul Reddy,DCP Traffic-I and  Shakeer Hussain Addl DCP.

To facilitate safe and secure relocation, the branches of the tree were scientifically trimmed prior to transportation. The tree was successfully shifted, ensuring improved traffic flow and enhanced commuter safety while preserving the city’s valuable green cover.
