FTCCI to hold conference on women’s empowerment

The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) will organize an international conference on "Women empowerment - Driving inclusive growth and leadership" on September 10 at Cyber Gardens, Hitec City. The conference, scheduled from 9.30 am to 5 pm, is being held with the support of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India.

It will bring together policymakers, women entrepreneurs, MSMEs, industry leaders, investors, academicians and international experts to discuss ways to strengthen women’s participation in economic growth and leadership. The programme will focus on women-led entrepreneurship, access to finance and markets, digital transformation, emerging technologies, leadership, inclusive workplaces, rural entrepreneurship, global partnerships and future-ready skills.

Dr. Tasneem Shariff, Chair, Women Empowerment Committee, FTCCI, said women’s empowerment had evolved from being merely a social imperative into an essential economic strategy. She said the conference aims to convert discussions into meaningful collaborations and concrete action.
