Additional Collector of Sangareddy District R Pandu stated on Friday that in today’s competitive world, textbook knowledge alone is not enough; developing practical skills is essential. As part of the “Welfare Celebrations” (Sankshema Varotsavalu) held under the ‘Praja Palana Pragathi Pranalika’ initiative, a skill development training program was organized for students of SC, ST, BC and Minority welfare hostels at the Collectorate meeting hall. Additional Collector Pandu attended the event as the Chief Guest.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that it is crucial for every student to first define a clear goal in life. He emphasized that communication skills, technical expertise, and problem-solving abilities would propel students forward. Additionally, he urged students not to view their social background as a hurdle but to turn it into an opportunity to reach higher positions. Degree students from BC, SC, ST and Minority hostels, along with officials and staff from various welfare departments  attended the program.
