HEMA SINGULURI | Hyderabad

For nearly four decades, Gadwal Weavers Society Saree House has preserved India’s rich handloom heritage. Marking a new milestone, the retailer will inaugurate its second Hyderabad branch on June 24 (Wednesday) at Pedamma Gudi, Jubilee Hills. Offering sarees priced from Rs. 500 to Rs. 1 lakh, the showroom ensures authentic handlooms are accessible to every budget.

A 38-Year Legacy Founded in 1986 with just one weaver, the organization has grown under Director Ramgopal Agarwal into a network of nearly 300 handlooms across South India, supporting artisan families. Unlike competitors, the company strictly sells only handloom products. "We believe genuine craftsmanship cannot be replaced by machines," says Agarwal, emphasizing authenticity, trust, and sustainable livelihoods.

Blending Heritage with Modern Fashion

Every collection is designed in-house, blending vintage motifs with contemporary styling for all age groups. The showroom’s philosophy rests on three pillars: Quality, Price, and Rapport.

Trust and Transparency

To combat power loom imitations, staff teach customers to identify genuine weaves by inspecting both sides of the fabric. For added credibility, sarees carry the Government of India's Silk Mark certification. "Quality checking and helping customers experience authenticity are extremely important," says Manager Akash.

This transparency is backed by a dedicated team; many sales executives have stayed for nearly 30 years. Regular seminars ensure top-tier customer service. Furthermore, the brand bridges tradition and modernity through an active website, Instagram presence, and educational videos for younger buyers.
