Telangana state BJP President N Ramchander Rao on Sunday said that Indian political atmosphere is getting changed as youth and Gen-Z were increasingly attracted to the leadership of  Prime Miniter Naremdnra Modi and the ideologies of the BJP.

Rao was addressing media after welcoming a group of doctors joined in BJP. He emphasised that there was need of educated people in the politics. "In the past, there was a misconception that politics was only for those with money, muscle power, or criminal backgrounds. That is changing today, Indian politics urgently needs educated individuals, intellectuals, and visionaries. Our youth—the next generation and Gen Z—are increasingly attracted to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the ideologies of the BJP,  he said adding that joining of doctors was a positive sign for the future of Telangana state.

The state BJP chief said  there was rising awareness among youth  who were now asking critical questions like who is the leader capable of protecting this nation? Which party can solve our country's problems? Why are anti-national forces rising, and how do we face them? There is a growing clarity in their thought process."

Countering anti-national sentiments  Rao said  we have recently seen disturbing trends in some universities where individuals like Afzal Guru are portrayed as heroes, the judiciary is insulted, and derogatory remarks  were made against PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. To counter these anti-national forces, patriotic and responsible educated citizens must unite. The nation views the entry of intellectuals including retired IAS and IPS officers into politics as a welcoming and hopeful development, he said.

The state BJP chief said from the day he took charge as State President,  he has called for women, youth, and intellectuals to join the BJP in large numbers. We must bring a new political culture to Telangana. Currently, the two major parties Congress and BRS  in the state lack clear policies and have descended into 'abusive politics.' Using vulgar language is dangerous for the next generation. Politics should be about dignity, values, and the maturity to discuss public issues, he suggested.

He said joining politics was not just about getting an election ticket.  It was about social consciousness and nation-building. To make India a global power and develop Telangana, the intellectual community must stand with the BJP. The fact that so many medical professionals have joined today is an auspicious sign, he emphasised.

He sought cooperation of the people and Intellectuals in view of upcoming GHMC elections and it was our responsibility of electing a BJP mayor in Hyderabad and politically checking the influence of the MIM.

The people across the country looking towards the BJP and even in states  currently under Congress rule, like Karnataka, the BJP is set to return to power. The country is moving toward the saffron fold, he asserted.

Rao said  the Intellectuals must lead for a  qualitative change in Telangana politics and he welcomed everyone into the fold and offer special congratulations to Dr. Sai Chandra Malladi for his efforts in joining the BJP.

A group of prominent doctors and Professionals under the leadership of renowned physician Dr Sai Cahndra Malladi joined in BJP in the presence of state BJP president Ramchander Rao who welcomed them in the party by draping party scarf. The doctors from various fields of physiotherapists, paramedical experts, and prominent figures from the pharmaceutical sector joined the BJP.

The event was attended by MLA Paidi Rakesh Reddy, MLC  Anji Reddy, BJP Senior Leader and Rangareddy (Urban) District President Vanipalli Srinivas Reddy, Medchal (Urban) District Convener Dr. Malla Reddy,  Madhavaram Kantharao, Dr. Rajasekhar Reddy, former MLA  Guvvala Balaraju, and others.
