The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has made extensive arrangements to ensure the traditional Bathukamma festival is celebrated with grandeur and convenience across the city. This year, over 384 Bathukamma ponds, lakes, temporary water bodies, and tanks have been readied for the festivities. To support public convenience, GHMC has installed 82 temporary toilets and set up 45,000 temporary electric lights at celebration venues.

Sanitation efforts are being intensified with 1,450 personnel deployed to maintain cleanliness at key locations. Major celebration venues include People's Plaza–Necklace Road, LB Stadium, Jalavihar, Kapra Lake, Uppal Nalla Cheruvu, Saroornagar Lake, Charminar, Rajendranagar, Mehdipatnam, Khairatabad, Jubilee Hills, Kukatpally, Musheerabad, Amberpet, Secunderabad, Begumpet, and Serilingampally.

GHMC has already initiated lake cleaning drives, mosquito control spraying, and safety measures to ensure a hygienic and secure environment. The corporation is working in collaboration with women’s groups, volunteers, and local associations to foster a spiritually vibrant and enthusiastic atmosphere for this year’s celebrations.
