GHMC receives 187 complaints

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) received a total of 187 complaints during the Prajavani program held on Monday. GHMC Commissioner Ilambarithi directed officials to address the grievances promptly and ensure timely resolutions. 

At the GHMC headquarters, 79 complaints were registered, with the highest number—49—related to the Town Planning department. The Tax section received 12 complaints, while Engineering and Administration departments recorded three each. The UCD, Health, and Finance departments received two complaints each, and one complaint was registered for the Zonal Office (Kukatpally), Sanitation, Electrical, and Lakes divisions. Additionally, two complaints were lodged through phone calls. 

Across GHMC’s six zones, 108 grievances were reported. 

Kukatpally Zone received the highest number with 56 complaints, followed by Serilingampally with 18, Secunderabad with 13, Charminar and LB Nagar with 10 each, while Khairatabad recorded just one complaint.
