‘Godari Gattupaina’ to release on May 8

Hyderabad: Actor Sumanth Prabhas is set to entertain audiences with his upcoming movie “Godari Gattupaina” which is scheduled for a worldwide release on May 8. Directed by Subhash Chandra and produced by Red Puppet Productions, the film also features Nidhi Pradeep as the female lead, with veteran actor Jagapathi Babu in a pivotal role. Additional key cast members include Laila and Rajiv Kanakala. At a press conference, director Subhash Chandra opened up about the project, his journey, and what audiences can expect.

Chandra credited producers Sunil Narang and Janvi Narang for introducing him to Sumanth Prabhas. The director mentioned that the film explores universal emotions through a triangular narrative involving father-daughter love and romantic love. He expressed his confidence that the film will definitely connect with the audience. On casting Nidhi Pradeep, he noted that “the story chose the actors.” He praised her Bharatanatyam proficiency, expressive eyes and strong performance in key scenes.
