Governor inaugurates National Conference on Trauma & Emergency Medicine

A national conference on trauma and conflict medicine was inaugurated on Saturday by Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla under the aegis of Medicover Institute of Emergency and Trauma Sciences. The conference brought together emergency care physicians, trauma specialists and disaster management experts from across India and abroad. In this event special emphasis was laid on the importance of the “Golden Hour,” the crucial first hour after an injury and the life-saving interventions required during this period.

In his address, the Governor emphasized the need for a robust and integrated emergency healthcare system and how public-private partnerships can ensure faster and high-quality medical services for the public. Organizing Chairman Dr. Nayan Sriramulu highlighted that along with advanced technology, time management, coordination, and scientific protocols are crucial in trauma care.

The organizers expressed confidence that this conference would pave the way for strengthening trauma care systems across the country. The event was attended by Medicover Hospitals Chairman & Managing Director Dr. G. Anil Krishna, Executive Director Dr. A. Sharath Reddy and other medical professionals.
