Govt ensuring welfare schemes reach all eligible: TPCC Vice-President

TPCC Vice President and Congress Party In-charge for Sanathnagar Assembly Constituency Dr. Kota Neelima said on Friday that the Congress government was committed to ensuring that the benefits of welfare and food-security programs reached every eligible family without discrimination. Dr. Neelima participated in the distribution of newly sanctioned Smart Ration Cards at the Urban Government Hospital in Chuttal Basti, Ramgopalpet Division.

The program was organized under the leadership of Congress party leader Srikanth Chary. She said that 15 lakh new ration cards had been sanctioned since the Congress government assumed office, enabling eligible poor and middle-class families to access various government welfare schemes and benefits. Fine-quality rice (Sanna Biyyam) is being distributed to approximately 3.38 crore people across Telangana, she said.

Visits Government Urban Hospital

Dr. Kota Neelima also visited the Government Urban Hospital and interacted with doctors, medical staff and patients. She enquired about the functioning of the hospital, availability of medicines and medical facilities, and the services being provided to patients.
