223 trainee officers take part in field visit and interact with CGR members
As part of their Combined Foundation Course (CFC), 223 trainee officers of Group-II Services, Batch II-A, Government of Telangana, visited The Earth Center on Tuesday for a field-based learning experience and interaction with members of the Council for Green Revolution (CGR).
The visit provided the trainee officers an opportunity to step outside the classroom and engage with an institution working in the areas of environment, sustainability and Earth leadership. The Earth Center, located at Anmaspally in Kadthal, has been developed by CGR as a space for training, research, environmental awareness and experiential learning.
During the visit, the trainee officers interacted with CGR members and gained exposure to the organisation’s work and initiatives. Such field visits form an important part of professional training, allowing future government officers to connect theoretical learning with experiences on the ground.
With 223 officers participating, the visit also brought together a large group of emerging public administrators at a centre dedicated to strengthening awareness about environmental responsibility and sustainable development.
The interaction marked an opportunity for the trainee officers to understand how community participation and institutional initiatives can contribute to addressing environmental challenges.
