On Sunday, producer Amit Jani took to X to share a picture with actor and filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar and wrote, "Film pe charcha, Mahesh Manjrekar ji ke awas pe (Discussion on a film at Mahesh Manjrekar's residence)." 

The timing of this meeting, however, is under debate, as there's an issue going on between Jani, who is making the film Kala Hiran, based on Salman's 1998 blackbuck poaching case, and the actor's team, which had sent a notice to the makers to stop its release. Jani had then shared a video in which he slammed Salman and tore the notice sent to him. Salman and Mahesh, on the other hand, are close friends, and they have worked together in many films like Wanted and Dabangg.
