The 145th birth anniversary of Helen Keller was grandly celebrated in the college campus by Pathan Umar Khan, Founder and Chairman of the Helen Keller Institution. Students and teachers from both school and college actively participated in the celebration.
In his speech, Pathan Umar Khan highlighted that Helen Keller, who was born blind, deaf, and mute, overcame her disabilities with determination and proved through her life that nothing is impossible. She became a role model for people across the world.
Makam Parthasarathi, Vice President of Helen Keller School, paid floral tribute to Helen Keller’s portrait in observance of the 10-day mourning ritual, and a moment of silence was observed for her soul to rest in peace. After the event, Umar Khan distributed sweets and bananas to the students, teaching and non-teaching staff.
