The Hindi Diwas 2025 celebrations at Canara Bank Circle Office in Hyderabad, were held with great enthusiasm under the chairmanship of Kalyan Mukherjee, General Manager and Circle Head.

Rudranath Mishra, DGM (Official Language), NMDC Ltd., graced the occasion as chief guest. Messages from Home Minister Amit Shah and Canara Bank’s MD & CEO K Satyanarayana Raju were read. A singing competition added a cultural flavor to the event.

Mishra emphasized using simple, clear Hindi and praised the Bank’s efforts in language promotion. Mukherjee stressed the importance of Hindi, mother tongues, and regional languages, urging employees to meet official language goals.

He proudly announced that the Hyderabad Circle secured second prize from head office for excellence in language implementation for 2024–25.
