Home Minister visits police injured in explosion

Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Vangalapudu Anitha on Tuesday visited in the police officers who were injured in an accidental explosion in Challapalli Police Station of Krishna district. She visited the police who were undergoing treatment at NRI Hospital in Mangalagiri and enquired about their condition from the doctors. She also assured the family members of the injured police that the government would extend all possible support and stand by them in every way. 

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Anitha informed that the explosives being sold without permission exploded while being taken to the court due to which the police got injured.  A sub-inspector, a court constables and two constables got injured and a constable Abdullah suffered 50-60 percent injuries, she said. Expressing her wishes for their speedy recovery, Minister Vangalapudi Anitha added that Krishna District Superintendent of Police Vidyasagar Naidu is closely monitoring the health condition of all the injured officers.
