Hyderabad Cops Crack Down on QNET Fraud

Hyderabad Police’s Central Crime Station (CCS) has arrested five alleged QNET independent representatives in connection with an illegal multi-level marketing (MLM) and pyramid scheme. The accused were arrested at a resort in Candolim, Goa, during a company event after the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) investigated a complaint of financial fraud.

Police said a Hyderabad-based complainant was contacted through Instagram and lured with promises of high returns and business success. The victim was allegedly convinced to invest Rs 7.5 lakh and pay an additional Rs 30,000 to reserve a membership position and attend a leadership event.

The five accused, all from Kerala, were taken into custody, while efforts are underway to trace other suspects involved in the network. During the operation, police seized three luxury vehicles, including a Toyota Fortuner, an MG Hector and a Kia SUV, along with five mobile phones containing chats, emails and financial transaction records.

The accused were brought to Hyderabad on transit warrants. Police advised citizens to stay away from pyramid and money circulation schemes that promise unrealistic profits and target unsuspecting investors.
