Hyderabad Hosts Teach For Change Annual Fundraiser

Premier Energies presented the Teach For Change Annual Fundraiser 2026, hosted by actor and philanthropist Lakshmi Manchu, at the Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre (HICC), bringing together leaders from government, corporate, education, and the film fraternity to support quality education for children studying in government schools. The annual fundraiser focused on the importance of strengthening government schools and improving learning outcomes for children from underserved communities. The event highlighted the need for partnerships between government, corporates, civil society, and individuals to ensure that every child, regardless of their socio-economic background, has access to quality education and better learning opportunities.

The evening also featured a special showcase where members of the Indian film fraternity walked the ramp in support of the cause of education. The showcase featured exclusive collections by ace designer Raamz, along with Sakhi Heritage ensembles and Rose Jewellery, symbolizing the coming together of cinema, fashion, and philanthropy for a meaningful social cause. So many Actors and Actress walked the ramp in support of the initiative. Teach For Change is a non-profit organization founded in 2014 by Lakshmi Manchu with the mission of strengthening government schools and improving the quality of education for children from underserved communities. The organization works closely with government schools to support smart classrooms, ICT-enabled learning, teacher training, volunteer programs, and foundational literacy and numeracy initiatives for primary school children. 

Over the years, Teach For Change has positively impacted over 300,000 children and supported 1,549 government schools across multiple states in India. The organization works in collaboration with state governments across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka, with a strong focus on improving foundational literacy and strengthening primary education in government-run schools.
