The 3-day N J Yasaswy Memorial 11th Moot Court Competition, 2026 organized by ICFAI Law School Hyderabad concluded on Sunday. The valedictory ceremony was attended by the Guest of Honor, Justice Gadi Praveen Kumar, Judge, High Court for the State of Telangana and the Chief Guest, Justice Suddala Chalapathi Rao, Judge, High Court for the State of Telangana.
Justice Gadi Praveen Kumar dwelt upon the importance of Part IV of the Constitution - the Directive Principles of State Policy - which lays down the guiding principles for achieving social and economic justice and strengthening the foundations of a welfare-oriented society. Justice Suddala Chalapathi Rao highlighted on the importance of gender equality and its recognition since ancient times. He observed that law students today enjoy far greater opportunities for their integral development.
The winner of the competition was Parul Institute of Law, Parul University and the runner-up was SVKM NMIMS, School of Law, Bengaluru. Prof. Pujari Ravisekhara Raju, Director, ICFAI Law School reflected upon the three-day competition. The competition is organized annually in honor of the founder, late N. J. Yasaswy, with the aim of fostering legal knowledge, research acumen and leadership among law students.
