enGen Global, an Integrated Healthcare Global Capability Centre, has donated advanced orthopaedic and laparoscopic surgical equipments to Seva Bharathi LCH Greenlands Trust – Dr Ishwar Chander Charitable Hospital at Sitarambagh under its Corporate Social Responsibility program, enGen Serve. The equipment was handed over at a program held at Seva Bharathi Hospital, Sitarambagh, in the presence of enGen CHRO Shrinivas Ayyagari, Seva Bharathi Hospital Medical Director Dr. Veda Prakash, Seva Bharathi State Secretary Subramanyam and Vidya Bhushan, representing the Lions Club.

Dr. Veda Prakash, Seva Bharathi Hospital Medical Director, said the equipment is expected to strengthen the hospital’s surgical capacity and help it provide quality surgical care to underserved families at an affordable cost. The orthopaedic equipment will support arthroscopic surgeries, ligament-tear repairs and other procedures. The laparoscopic equipment will enable minimally invasive surgeries, including appendix and gall-bladder operations.

Arvind Srinivasan, CFO and Head of enGen Serve, mentioned that access to quality healthcare should not be determined by a family’s ability to pay. “Through enGen Serve, we are proud to help make essential surgical care more accessible and affordable,” he said.  Shrinivas Ayyagari, CHRO, enGen, said that their purpose extends beyond business to creating meaningful impact in the communities they serve.
