The passing of legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle has left the film industry in deep grief, with leading actors and filmmakers paying heartfelt tributes to her enduring legacy.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan  remembered her as a pillar of Indian cinema. Sharing a throwback picture, he said, “It’s truly sad to learn about Asha Tai’s passing… her voice has been one of the pillars of Indian cinema and will continue to resonate world over for centuries to come. A talent that will outlive many, she always showered me with blessings and love and I will miss her. Rest in peace Asha Tai.”

Actor  Kareena Kapoor Khan also paid tribute, calling her legacy timeless. “Old is gold, and that is what Asha Bhosale’s music stands for. Her voice has enthralled generations and continues to resonate even today,” she shared while posting a vintage memory.

Actress Kajol recalled witnessing her artistry up close. “I remember watching her recording when I was 19. What she made out of a simple melody was like watching a film. She was magnificent, now and forever,” she said.

She added that Asha Bhosale’s personality and expression brought life to every song, calling her a legend who will continue to inspire generations.

Manisha Koirala said, “My heartfelt condolences to her family, loved ones, and countless admirers around the world. Her voice will forever echo in our hearts.”
