Officials on Saturdayinspected the arrangements for the upcoming International Kite and Sweet Festival – 2026, scheduled to be held from January 13 to 15, 2026, at Parade Grounds, Secunderabad, under the auspices of the Telangana Tourism Development Corporation.

On this occasion, Valluri Kranthi,  Managing Director of Telangana Tourism Development Corporation & Director – Department of Tourism, DCP (Traffic) Dannarapu Srinivas, Additional DCP (Law & Order) Venugopal Reddy, Deputy Commissioner GHMC Smt. Sujatha, officials from Fire Services and Tourism Department reviewed the preparation works at the venue.

Officials issued necessary instructions regarding safety, parking, traffic management, fire safety arrangements, and sanitation measures to ensure smooth conduct of the festival.

The festival will feature participation from national and international kite flyers and renowned sweet makers. The event will showcase Telangana’s rich cultural heritage and is expected to attract large numbers of tourists and visitors.
