Intelligence Chief Shivadhar Reddy to be new DGP

Hyderabad: The Telangana government has appointed IPS officer Battula Shivadhar Reddy as the new DGP of Telangana. Shivadhar Reddy is a 1994 batch IPS officer currently serving as the Telangana Intelligence Chief. The Telangana government has issued an order on Friday appointing Shivadhar Reddy as the new DGP. He will take charge on October 1. He was promoted to DGP Intelligence in August 2024. He has received many awards including the Gallantry Medal, Police Medal, President's Medal and United Nations Medal.
