Eminent neurologist at Guntur Lalitha Super Specialties Hospital Dr. Vijaya said on that Tuesday that journalism is essential for social justice to happen and benefit everyone from politicians to common people.

She participated and spoke at the Andhra Pradesh Working Journalist union meeting held at the local LVR club at Guntur. She recalled that the constructive role played by the media in alerting people to the right and necessary information in the wake of the Corona epidemic cannot be forgotten.

She said that every journalist in Guntur district will be granted cards for subsidized treatment on behalf of the hospital. She expressed her happiness that the Guntur Lalita Super Specialty Hospital has received the Diamond Award from the World Stroke Association. APWJ State President IV Subbarao and Guntur District President Miravali were felicitated with shawls.
