Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday directed ministers, MLAs and senior Congress leaders to shift gears from securing a win to delivering a thumping majority for party candidate Naveen Yadav in the crucial Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election.

In a marathon two-and-a-half-hour strategy session held at his residence on Monday morning, the Chief Minister exuded confidence, declaring, “We are winning in Jubilee Hills… now the target is the size of the majority.” He stressed the need to push polling percentage higher, which has remained relatively low in the constituency so far.

Revanth Reddy issued clear instructions: every minister must stay on duty until polling concludes on November 11; corporation chairpersons, MLAs and booth-level committees must ensure foolproof poll management; and grassroots workers should leave no voter behind. Special emphasis was laid on booth-level vigilance and last-mile voter mobilisation to counter any complacency.

The high-powered meeting saw the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, PCC Chief Mahesh Kumar Goud, and several cabinet colleagues. Immediately after, a follow-up coordination session was held at Jubilee Hills Recreation Club under the leadership of Bhatti Vikramarka, Mahesh Kumar Goud, Uttam Kumar Reddy and Ponnam Prabhakar to fine-tune ground-level operations.

The Chief Minister described the by-election as a referendum on Congress’s development and welfare agenda. He urged leaders to aggressively highlight the government’s achievements while ensuring seamless execution on polling day.

With just hours left for the polls, the Congress machinery is working overtime to convert confidence into a landslide verdict in the prestigious constituency. Party insiders believe a massive margin will not only strengthen Naveen Yadav’s position but also send a strong political message across the state.
