Nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers are in for a treat as a Jungle Safari is set to commence soon at the picturesque Mulapadu Butterfly Park in NTR District. The safari will take visitors on a 14-kilometre journey through the lush Kondapalli forest, culminating at the scenic Anjaneya Swamy temple, offering a unique blend of nature, spirituality, and adventure.

The Forest Department has finalized the route and announced that the ticket price for the safari has been fixed at Rs.300 per person. Two safari vehicles have already been prepared for trial runs to ensure safety and a smooth experience for visitors.

Speaking to the media, District Collector Lakshmisha said the safari aims to offer an immersive experience in one of the region’s most vibrant ecosystems, which is home to a variety of flora, fauna, and butterfly species. “This initiative will promote eco-tourism in the Kondapalli forest region and generate awareness about biodiversity conservation.”

Adding to the excitement, the department has also proposed the development of a 200 to 300-acre zoological park in the vicinity of the Butterfly Park. This upcoming zoo is expected to further transform Mulapadu into a major nature tourism destination in Andhra Pradesh. The jungle safari is expected to open to the public in the coming weeks once trial runs are completed and necessary infrastructure is in place.
