As an actor, Jupudi excelled in various roles, including Duryodhana in "Mayasabha" and Balarama in "Gayopakhyanam." His performances were characterized by finesse, nuance, and powerful voice, earning him a massive following in the Guntur-Krishna belt and beyond.

Jupudi's passion for theatre was matched only by his dedication to law. He completed his law degree in 1938 and went on to become a leading advocate in Guntur. His legal prowess and oratory skills made him a sought-after lawyer, and he argued several cases in labor courts, often without charging fees from workers.

In politics, Jupudi was a key figure in the Bharatiya Jan Sangh (BJS) and later the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He served as the State President of BJS for 10 years and National Vice President of the party. Jupudi was also a member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council for 18 years, earning recognition as the leader of the opposition.

Throughout his life, Jupudi remained committed to his ideals and values. He was a strong advocate for workers' welfare, national integration, and social justice. His contributions to the BJP and Indian politics are still remembered and revered today.

His wife, Jupudi Hymavathi, who turned 90 on October 2, 2024, continues to cherish memories of Jupudi's remarkable life and contributions. Their son, Jupudi Rangaraju, a senior advocate, carries forward his father's legacy in politics and law.
