Keshav Memorial student earns national recognition

Yelamanchili Kavyasri Ratna, a BBA student of Keshav Memorial Institute of Commerce and Sciences Degree College, Narayanaguda has secured national-level recognition in a competition aimed at promoting awareness on the Union Budget and women’s empowerment. The competitions were organized across the country in connection with the introduction of the Women’s Reservation Bill in Parliament. Conducted under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, selected participants were invited to a national-level camp held at Kanha Shanti Vanam for a mock Parliament session.

The participants were given an opportunity to present their views on key themes such as the Union Budget and “Nari Shakti”. Kavyasri Ratna secured a place among the top performers at the national level. She impressed the panel with her articulate presentation on women’s empowerment within the stipulated time. Congratulating her achievement, College Secretary Dr. Annadanam Subrahmanyam, Principal Sravanthi, and NSS Program Officer Madhuri lauded Kavyasri for bringing laurels to the institution.
