Arrive Alive drive launched in Mahabubnagar

District Collector Khushboo Gupta unveiled the “Arrive Alive” road safety awareness poster as part of the 99-day Praja Palana Pragathi programme. The campaign, organized by the district transport department, will be conducted from April 13 to 18 to promote road safety awareness.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector urged citizens to strictly follow traffic rules and exercise caution while driving to prevent accidents. She particularly warned youth against drunk driving and over-speeding, stressing the importance of reaching destinations safely. Highlighting the rising number of road accidents, she said many families are affected every year.

She also emphasized that two-wheeler riders must wear helmets and car drivers should use seat belts. District Transport Officer Raghu Kumar, R&B Superintendent Engineer Sandhya, and police officials attended the programme.
