Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy today inquired about the problems faced by the officials in the land acquisition process related to the construction of a flyover being constructed from Uppal to Ghatkesar. He suggested that steps be taken to ensure the speedy completion of the work of this project, which has been undertaken with priority for the convenience of people's travel.
Reddy said he was serious about the delay in the land acquisition for the construction of the Uppal-Ghatkesar flyover. He questioned the officials about the delay in the land acquisition process for the flyover being constructed from Uppal to Ghatkesar, which will be useful for the movement of lakhs of passengers.
He issued instructions to the officials to complete the land acquisition immediately so that the project can be completed quickly. He said the Amberpet flyover, built at a cost of Rs 400 crore, would be officially inaugurated by Union Roads & Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari on May 5. On the occasion, Kishan Reddy instructed the officials concerned to make advance arrangements to avoid inconvenience to the people on the road under the flyover.
