The second plastic park is being planned south of Shamshabad airport informed Dr. E. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC). He was speaking at the Polymers Conference 2025 held in the city on Friday organized by the Telangana and Andhra Plastics Manufacturers Association (TAAPMA).

Anil Reddy Vennam, Senior Vice President of the All India Plastics Manufacturers’ Association (AIPMA) said that land rates in plastic parks are being frozen until 50% occupancy is achieved. To support MSMES, he announced the rollout of flatted factory sheds and plug-and-play facilities at subsidised rates, with three such units ready for occupation.
