Dr. Kota Neelima, TPCC Vice President and Sanathnagar Constituency In-charge, strongly condemned the attack by BRS leaders on the headquarters of Maha News Channel in Hyderabad.

She visited the Maha News office, met every journalist, and expressed solidarity with the management. She stated that there is no place for such attacks in a democracy and called it a highly disgraceful act to target media organizations.

She said that attempts to suppress media freedom through threats and coercion are harmful to democracy. If there are objections to any news reports or stories, there are proper ways to express them, but resorting to violence and attacks is unacceptable, she questioned the BRS leaders.

She demanded that KCR, Kavitha, Harish Rao, and other BRS leaders must visit Maha News Channel and apologize to the management and every journalist working there. She clarified that she came not just as a political leader but also as a journalist to show her support.

She appreciated the courage of the channel staff and journalists who continued their duties undeterred even after such destruction.
