Bharat Rashtra Samithi Working President K.T. Rama Rao KTR, accompanied by senior party leaders, submitted a detailed representation to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Telangana, alleging massive voter fraud and manipulation by the Congress Party in the Jubilee Hills Assembly Constituency.
The BRS representation highlights rampant irregularities, including duplicate registrations, fake entries, and unlawful inclusion of non-resident voters, which, according to the party, were orchestrated with the connivance of local officials. KTR described the developments as a “mockery of democracy and an attack on free and fair elections.”
According to the findings submitted to the CEO, around 19,000 questionable voter entries were identified in Jubilee Hills. These include about 12,000 “outsider” voters allegedly added illegally and 1,942 individuals registered in multiple polling booths within the same constituency. In some cases, dozens of voters were registered at non-existent or single-room addresses, suggesting systematic voter roll tampering.
Specific instances detailed in the complaint include: Booth No. 246, Yousufguda Division: 75 individuals (32 and 43 at two addresses) registered from outside the locality in just one month.
Booth No. 226, Hylam Colony: 42 votes recorded at a non-existent house number, verified through field inspection.
KTR accused the ruling Congress of misusing power, machinery, and government resources to influence the by-election outcome. He said, “When even their own MLAs admit the government has no funds, they are suddenly pouring crores into Jubilee Hills to deceive voters.”
The BRS has urged the Election Commission to conduct an immediate and impartial investigation into the irregularities, take strict action against officials who colluded in the manipulation, delete all 19,000 fake and multiple entries after verification.
KTR stated that the Congress Party’s attempt to win through fraudulent means will be exposed before the people and vowed that the BRS will continue to fight to safeguard the democratic process.
