Laadli Awards invites gender champions to enter 16th edition

Population First, the non-profit organization behind gender sensitivity movement ‘Laadli’, has invited entries to the 16th edition of its flagship Laadli Media & Advertising Awards for Gender Sensitivity (LMAAGS). LMAAGS covers journalism, advertising, screened entertainment (films, TV and web series) and is designed to recognize and celebrate media and content that promotes gender sensitivity and challenges gender stereotypes. Launched in 2005, Laadli’s mission is to encourage storytellers to portray all genders in a positive and diverse manner, leading to a more inclusive and equitable society.

The 16th Laadli Awards are open to entries from across India and will be judged by a panel of experts from media, advertising and gender studies, among other streams. The journalism awards are currently accepting entries in 14 languages. More details are at: www.populationfirst.org. All media professionals are invited to submit their entries on or before 31st July, 2026.The awards carry no entry free.
