Sanathnagar Constituency Congress Party in-charge Dr. Kota Neelima stated that six lakh devotees attended Balkampet Yellamma Kalyana Mahotsavam and Rathotsavam, and Bonalu festival.

She mentioned that over three days of festivities, more than 6 lakh devotees visited the goddess and participated in the celebrations, with over 4 lakh people attending the Kalyana Mahotsavam. She said the Congress government allocated a special budget and organized the festival in a very grand manner.

On this occasion, she explained that about 70 officials were deputed from the Endowments Department to manage the event. Additionally, more than 100 staff members were deployed from GHMC for sanitation and various other tasks.

She noted that 1,000 police personnel were assigned for strict security, 170 staff from Water Works, 50 from the Electricity Department, and 10 from the Fire and Safety Department were also deployed. Furthermore, about 1,500 volunteers participated voluntarily, while over 150 people conducted annadanam programs, and more than 10 medical camps were organized.

She conveyed special thanks to CM Revanth Reddy, Hyderabad In-charge Minister Ponnam Prabhakar and Endowments Minister Konda Surekha.

She congratulated the officials of GHMC, Electricity Department, Endowments Department, Police, Traffic Police, R&B, Water Works, Information Department, and Fire Services for ensuring that devotees did not face any inconvenience.
