Karimnagar: Speaking at a press conference held on Saturday at Medicover Hospital in Karimnagar on the occasion of World Liver Day, doctors clarified that it is a misconception among the public that liver problems are caused only by alcohol consumption. Speaking at the event, doctors stated that though continuous alcohol consumption gradually leads to liver damage, they also warned that adulterated food and the use of low-quality cooking oils can severely impact liver health. Excessive intake of paracetamol can have adverse effects on the liver, the informed.
Symptoms such as persistent fatigue, muscle pain, dizziness, palpitations, numbness in hands or legs, and hair loss should not be ignored, and individuals experiencing these should consult a doctor immediately, they opined . They stressed that the liver is one of the most vital organs in the human body, and protecting it is essential for a healthy life.
