The 'Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) 2.0' held across Andhra Pradesh has been hailed as a resounding success, with Information Technology and Human Resources Development Minister Nara Lokesh expressing heartfelt gratitude to all stakeholders who contributed to its effective execution.
Thanking government and private school and college staff, education department officials, principals, teachers, students, parents, donors, alumni, public representatives, and officials from various government departments, Minister Lokesh said the success of the program was made possible through collective and committed efforts.
“This initiative has demonstrated how voluntary public support can significantly contribute to strengthening the education system,” the Minister said, adding that programs like these lay a strong foundation for shaping the future of students.
The Mega PTM 2.0 was organized with multiple objectives, including enhancing coordination between parents and teachers, reviewing student progress, and promoting community participation in the development of schools. The event facilitated meaningful discussions around improving infrastructure and raising academic standards in schools.
Minister Lokesh assured that suggestions and feedback received from parents during the program would be taken seriously and implemented wherever possible. “The government is fully committed to acting on the valuable inputs shared by parents and ensuring that our educational institutions continue to evolve,” he said.
Looking ahead, Lokesh emphasized that such initiatives would be continued and expanded to further reinforce the education system.
