Malkajgiri Bar Association members have conveyed heartfelt thanks to the Congress-led state government, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, their cabinet, and all MLAs and MLCs from various parties for implementing the BC Bill.
It was expressed that for the past 70 years, injustice has been happening, and hence, providing 42% reservation for BCs in education, employment, and politics is essential. The government is committed to this cause with sincerity and has assured that it will take responsibility for ensuring its implementation at the central level as well.
Additionally, the legal fraternity urged BJP state representatives and central ministers, including Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay, to take responsibility and convince all parties to ensure the bill’s implementation in Parliament, just as it was done in the Assembly. Lawyers emphasized that the BC Bill is not against anyone but is a rightful and just share for BCs.
The celebrations were attended and organized by General Secretary Srikanth, Indian Legal Professional Association President Ponnam Devaraj Goud, Turaka Ratnaiah, K Vasu, Swathi, Sunitha Raj, Budampalli Sudheer Babu, Manmohan Yadav, Jahnavi Durga, along with a large number of senior advocates, junior advocates, and women advocates.
