The XII Additional Sessions Court in Nampally on Thursday sentenced a 42-year-old man, M M P Jose, to life imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 for repeatedly sexually assaulting his minor daughter. The victim, who was a minor at the time of the incidents in 2015, filed a complaint detailing the ongoing abuse by her father. Following the complaint, an investigation was conducted by Inspector S. Rama Chandra Reddy of Gopalapuram Police Station and Inspector T. Jyothsna of the Women Police Station, CCS, Hyderabad.

Upon completion of the investigation, a charge sheet was filed in the XII Additional Sessions Court. Inspector Reddy also closely monitored the progress of the case during the trial, ensuring effective prosecution. The court not only convicted the accused but also recommended a compensation of Rs 10 lakh to be awarded to the victim.
