In a remarkable display of intellectual prowess at a tender age, eight-year-old Ganta Jishnu Aryan, grandson of Bhimili MLA and former minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, has earned a place in the Guinness World Records for his extraordinary memory and mathematical ability.

Jishnu Aryan achieved the record at a programme held in Hyderabad by flawlessly reciting 216 decimal places of the Golden Ratio within just 60 seconds. The feat left the audience and adjudicators astonished, as recalling such a complex mathematical constant with speed and accuracy is considered extremely challenging even for adults.

The Golden Ratio, a fundamental mathematical concept with applications across science, art and architecture, demands exceptional concentration and cognitive ability to memorise at this scale. Jishnu’s accomplishment at such a young age has drawn widespread admiration and recognition.

Jishnu Aryan is the son of Raviteja Ganta and Sharani Ponguri, grandson of former minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao and minister Ponguru Narayana. Raviteja and Sharani are currently serving as directors of the Narayana Educational Institutions.

Expressing pride over his grandson’s achievement, Ganta Srinivasa Rao said, “It is a moment of immense joy and pride that my grandson Ganta Jishnu Aryan has secured a place in the Guinness World Records by reciting 216 decimal places of the Golden Ratio in just 60 seconds. Displaying such focus, memory and grasp at the age of eight is truly exceptional. I congratulate Aryan and also appreciate his parents, Raviteja and Sharani, for nurturing his talent and guiding him with dedication.”

Jishnu Aryan’s achievement is being hailed as an inspiring example of young talent from Andhra Pradesh making a mark on the global stage, reinforcing the growing emphasis on nurturing analytical and cognitive skills from an early age.
