As part of the MeeSuraksha community safety initiative launched by the Malkajgiri Police Commissionerate, a special enrollment and verification drive for domestic servants and security guards was conducted in Kapra. The programme was held at GK’s Pride, Yapral and Shanthiville, Vampuguda, covering major gated communities in the area.
The initiative aims to strengthen residential safety through systematic verification, digital enrollment, and background checks of domestic workers, drivers, housekeeping staff, and security personnel working in colonies. Residents were sensitised on the importance of verifying personal and service staff to prevent misuse of identities and ensure a safer living environment.
Police personnel from Jawaharnagar Police Station, along with SIP staff and Patrol Mobile-I and II teams, interacted with residents, domestic workers, and security guards during the drive. Officials explained the enrollment process and encouraged full cooperation from apartment associations and residents.
They also highlighted that regular verification drives under MeeSuraksha help build trust between the community and police while improving preventive policing and overall neighbourhood security across the Malkajgiri Zone.
