Mini bus gutted in fire on NH at Masaipet

A mini bus travelling on the national highway caught fire on Monday morning at Masaipet in Medak district, though no injuries were reported in the incident. The vehicle suddenly went up in flames while on the highway, prompting panic. On noticing the fire, the driver and cleaner immediately jumped out and escaped unhurt. The bus was completely gutted in the blaze.

Firefighters rushed to the spot after being alerted and managed to douse the flames within an hour-long operation. However, the vehicle was already extensively damaged by then. Officials stated that the exact reason behind the fire was yet to be known, and an investigation into the incident is underway to determine the cause of the mishap.
