Telangana Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha met student leaders from various universities at his official residence to discuss key welfare initiatives, including SC categorization, Bhubharati land reforms, caste census, and the implementation of the SC/ST sub-plan.

The minister emphasized that Telangana is setting an example for other states by implementing SC categorization following the Supreme Court’s landmark ruling. He urged student leaders to conduct awareness programs to help marginalized communities understand and benefit from the policy. He also encouraged women from SC/ST communities to actively pursue empowerment opportunities.

Rajanarasimha announced that job notifications for various government departments would be released soon and urged SC, ST, and BC students to prepare for employment opportunities. He stressed the importance of spreading awareness about the SC/ST sub-plan and ensuring its benefits reach eligible individuals.

Student leaders raised concerns about challenges faced in universities, and the minister assured them that he would discuss solutions with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.  Highlighting the government’s commitment to education and healthcare, Rajanarasimha spoke about the Bhubharati land reforms, which aim to help farmers understand their land rights. He assured that the policy would be implemented transparently.  The meeting was attended by Osmania University professor G. Mallesham, social activist, and PCC General Secretary Kondeti Mallayya.
