Minister for Education and IT Nara Lokesh on Wednesday met senior RSS functionary and Akhil Bharatiya Sampark Pramukh Ram Lal at his residence in Undavalli. Ram Lal, who earlier served as the BJP’s National General Secretary (Organisation) between 2006 and 2019 and has held several key responsibilities within the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, is currently meeting prominent personalities across the country as part of the RSS centenary outreach.
During the meeting, Lokesh engaged in discussions along with several state ministers. Ram Lal briefed them on the activities undertaken by the RSS nationwide and highlighted the organization’s legacy and its century-long contribution to social and cultural initiatives. The leaders also exchanged views on contemporary national issues, governance, and public outreach programs being implemented across various states.
Lokesh presented Ram Lal with the Children’s Constitution book, recently brought out by the Education Department, as a token of respect. He also honoured the RSS leader with a traditional Mangalagiri shawl.The meeting was attended by several ministers and other dignitaries. The interaction is part of a series of engagements Ram Lal is undertaking with leaders from various sectors as the RSS marks its 100-year milestone.
