The Telangana government has formally launched the Praja Palana Pragathi Pranalika 99 Day Action Plan, with ministers holding review meetings across several districts to ensure effective implementation of welfare and development programmes. The initiative, which will run from March 6 to June 12, aims to strengthen governance, speed up service delivery and ensure that welfare schemes reach every eligible beneficiary.

As part of the launch, ministers conducted preparatory meetings with district officials and public representatives to review the action plan and issue detailed guidelines for implementation at the district, constituency and mandal levels.

In Karimnagar, Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Tummala Nageswara Rao, along with Government Advisor Harkara Venugopal Rao, chaired a review meeting at the Collectorate auditorium. They directed officials to focus on key sectors such as sanitation, clearance of pending files in government offices, healthcare services, public safety, welfare programmes, child protection, anti drug awareness, education, youth and sports development, women empowerment and environmental protection. Officials were asked to ensure coordinated action across departments during the 99 day programme.

In Mahabubabad, Revenue, Information and Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy held a preparatory meeting for the joint Warangal district officials. Forest and Environment Minister Konda Surekha and several legislators also participated in the meeting. Ponguleti instructed officials to ensure that government schemes reach all eligible beneficiaries and emphasized stronger coordination among departments to resolve local issues in both rural and urban areas.

He directed officials to strengthen healthcare services, fill vacancies of doctors in government hospitals and ensure availability of medical staff even in remote villages. The minister also stressed strict monitoring of school transport safety and called for GPS based tracking of school vehicles. He asked officials to accelerate the construction of Indiramma houses and warned that collectors would be held accountable if houses were allotted to ineligible beneficiaries.

Konda Surekha urged officials to resolve grievances received through Prajavani quickly and suggested developing a digital system to inform applicants about the status of their petitions. She also called for health camps at the mandal level, installation of incinerators in girls hostels and joint surveys to resolve forest and revenue land disputes.

In Nizamabad, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka reviewed the action plan with district officials of Nizamabad and Kamareddy. She asked authorities to ensure that the region emerges as a model in implementing the programme. The minister emphasized improving sanitation, healthcare, education, drinking water supply and women and child welfare services during the three month programme.

Officials were also instructed to raise awareness on welfare schemes such as Mahalakshmi, Indiramma housing and free electricity benefits through village meetings. Ministers and government advisors called for close coordination between officials and public representatives to ensure the success of the 99 Day Action Plan across the state.
