Miyapur Police apprehended two drug peddlers and seized 10.5 grams of MDMA near Miyapur X Road, Cyberabad. Acting on credible information, officers intercepted the accused—Kethavath Ravi, 28, a mason, and Jerpula Ravi, 35, an auto driver, both residents of Maharashtra—who were allegedly carrying the drug for sale during the New Year season. During interrogation, it was revealed that the MDMA was procured from Mumbai on 27.12.2025 with the intention of selling it in Hyderabad for monetary gain. A case has been registered under Crime No. 1957/2025 U/sec 8(c) r/w 20(c) of the NDPS Act. The contraband was seized, and both accused were arrested.

The operation was conducted under the supervision of Ritiraj, IPS, DCP, Madhapur Zone, Cyberabad. Further investigations are underway to trace the source of the supply and uncover other links in the drug trafficking network.
