Despite initial doubts in many on Telangana’s $1 Trillion economy target, the consecutive successes at Davos validated my vision: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy
The Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has stressed on Telangana’s rapid progress across various sectors, emphasizing that the momentum of “Telangana Rising” and “Hyderabad Rising” cannot be halted. He made these remarks while inaugurating the HCL Tech new Campus in Hyderabad on Thursday.
Addressing the gathering, CM Revanth Reddy stated that the Telangana government has been actively signing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with multinational companies and launching projects as per these agreements, positioning the state among the fastest-growing in the country.
“It is a significant achievement that Telangana has secured the highest level of investments from both domestic and international companies within just one year and has also ranked first in job creation. The state is leading advancements in artificial intelligence while maintaining the lowest inflation rate,” the Chief Minister stated.
CM highlighted that despite skepticism, his vision of making Telangana a one-trillion-dollar GDP economy is being realized.
“Some doubted our ambition, but after securing MoUs worth Rs 41,000 crore and Rs 1.78 lakh crore during two trips to Davos, they now recognize the significance of this vision,” he said.
The Chief Minister emphasized Telangana’s competitive edge, stating, “Our competition is not with Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, or Chennai. Hyderabad is emerging as a leader in electric vehicle adoption and a hub for data centers, renewable energy, life sciences, biotechnology, skill development, manufacturing, and agricultural processing.” He added that global recognition of Hyderabad’s growth trajectory is increasing.
Speaking about HCL Tech, Revanth Reddy lauded the company as a global enterprise and a source of pride for India, operating in 60 countries with more than 220,000 employees. Since its arrival in Hyderabad in 2007, HCL Tech has grown steadily, and its new 3.2 lakh square-foot world-class facility will provide 5,000 jobs in the city.
