Mahabubnagar: BJP National Vice President and Member of Parliament from Mahabubnagar Lok Sabha D.K. Aruna raised the issue of establishing Kendriya Vidyalayas during the Parliament session on March 12 this year. She urged the Central Government to set up Kendriya Vidyalayas in Makthal and Kodangal constituencies of the Mahabubnagar Parliamentary segment, as well as at the Jogulamba Gadwal district headquarters.
On Friday, a team of Central Government representatives along with senior state officials inspected the site for the construction of a Kendriya Vidyalaya at Maldakal mandal headquarters in Jogulamba Gadwal district and finalized the selection. Officials stated that while inspecting the site, factors such as suitability of the location, availability of infrastructure, and environmental aspects were taken into consideration.
District officials and Central representatives jointly toured Maldakal in Jogulamba Gadwal district and examined a suitable site keeping in mind students’ convenience and future requirements, after which the site was selected. MP D.K. Aruna expressed happiness that the selection of land is a significant step forward towards the establishment of a Kendriya Vidyalaya.
