Warangal MP Dr. Kadiyam Kavya has formally appealed to the Union Ministry of Education for the establishment of a Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) and a Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district.

In a meeting with Union Education Secretary Sanjay Kumar on Wednesday, Dr. Kavya submitted a memorandum highlighting the district’s growing population of Singareni employees, government staff, and IT professionals. She emphasized the urgent need for quality schooling options, especially for children affected by frequent parental transfers.

Dr. Kavya also underscored the lack of a Navodaya residential school in the rural district, which she said limits access to quality education for meritorious students from economically weaker backgrounds. She assured that the Telangana government is ready to provide land and infrastructure support for both institutions. Responding positively, Secretary Sanjay Kumar assured that efforts would be made to expedite the approval and establishment of the proposed schools.
